We focus on prophecy each week for about five-minutes.
Approximately 25% of the Bible is prophetic, with somewhere around 500 prophecies regarding the Last Days that are yet to be fulfilled.
We ought to be able to identify trends in the world that are to be expected in light of those prophecies.
There is a rather unusual prophecy regarding the Antichrist who will be in power during the yet future seven year Great Tribulation on the earth; and about his companion – a false prophet who will have remarkable abilities. I’ll read it to you:
Rev 13:14 And [the false prophet] deceives those who dwell on the earth – by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
Rev 13:15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
How can an “image… speak” and think, and do other things that are attributed to being human?
It’s been suggested that this is some form of Artificial Intelligence – AI for short.
There have been incredible advances in AI. I was sent an article this week, from Science Daily, titled, Engineers translate brain signals directly into speech.

I’m not saying AI will power the image. I’m just pointing out that it is the kind of trend you’d expect in light of the Last Days prophecies.
BTW – It isn’t just crazy prophecy buffs who talk about AI. The late Dr. Steven Hawking had a lot to say about it – including this:
The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race. It would take off on its own, and re-design itself at an ever-increasing rate. Humans… couldn’t compete and would be superseded.
As believers, we expect that Jesus could return at any moment.
Jesus promised He’d return to rapture His church – which entails the resurrection of the dead in Christ of the Church Age, then the translation from earth to Heaven of all living believers.
It is presented in the Bible as an imminent (any-moment) event.
