These are exciting times for believers in Christ who are interested in Bible prophecy. Many things that are suggested by unfulfilled, future prophecies seem to be trending like never before.
We reserve a few minutes Sunday morning to discuss some of those things.

The dreaded Mark of the Beast is described in the thirteenth chapter of the Revelation:
Rev 13:16 … all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave… receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
Rev 13:17 and… no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The possibility of controlling humanity by this “mark” is fast becoming reality. The technology exists, right now, for everyone to use their fingerprints, or their palm prints, or a vein scan, or a retinal scan, or a wearable device, or an implanted chip, to identify themselves, and conduct all their business.
Pretty soon all currency will be digital. YahooFinance posted this:
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen signaled the Biden administration supports research into the viability of a digital dollar, a shift from the lack of enthusiasm shown for the concept under her predecessor, Steven Mnuchin. “It makes sense for central banks to be looking at” issuing sovereign digital currencies, Yellen said.
“This is the most forward-leaning a Treasury secretary has ever been in endorsing a digital dollar,” said Josh Lipsky, director of the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center.

Another source posted an article titled, Russia could become first country to make entire currency DIGITAL.
Digital currency gives governments pretty much total control over their citizens. Especially if it is in conjunction with some kind of social credit system.
What is social credit, you ask? The government tracks everything you do, buy, sell, and say, then rates you on a scale they have developed. You are credited for the things they deem right and good; you are demerited for things they deem wrong and bad. Your score determines where you can go, what you can do, what you can buy… etc.
According to a report recently released, by 2026, the concept of social credit systems will be entirely mainstream in the US and around the world. It’s an assertion that is backed up by a series of reports this week stating that while the US government is not building a social credit system, private
industry is.
Excerpts:
For example, earlier this year, the New York State Department of Financial Services announced that life insurance companies can base premiums on what they find in your social media posts. If you demonstrate a life lived on the edge, that can cost you; if you show a life of careful and healthy behavior, that might net a reward.
The system used by private companies and tech firms is essentially a black box. The customer can be punished – and, in some cases, cut off from vital access to things like transportation – without ever fully understanding the reason or the basis, and with almost no recourse to protest the decision.

The article ends saying, “Whether social credit is good and useful or invasive and creepy, it is coming. And if the recent data is to be believed, it is coming very, very quickly.”
This is just the kind of control that we expect from a literal, futurist reading of unfulfilled Bible prophecy.
We believe the resurrection and rapture of the church is imminent. It could happen any moment; nothing needs to happen before it. It will definitely happen before the Tribulation.
Jesus will return in the clouds. He will raise the dead in Christ. He will transform the bodies of living believers to glorified, resurrection bodies.
We will all join Him in Heaven while the earth endures one final seven-year campaign of severe evangelism.
