We reserve a few minutes Sunday morning to suggest news, or trends, that seem to be predicted by a literal, futurist reading of the Bible. We are careful to use recognized, reliable sources for news. There is a lot of sensationalism surrounding unfulfilled Bible prophecy, and we don’t want to add to it.

We’re not saying the things we report are the definite fulfillment of prophecy – only that they are the things you’d expect by holding a Bible in one hand, and a newspaper in the other.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international lobbying organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded in 1971 by German engineer and economist Klaus Schwab. The Forum insists that a globalized world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations, governments and civil society organizations. Its ideals are captured in slogans, e.g., “The Great Reset,” and “The Global Redesign.” It sees periods of global instability – such as the financial crisis of 2007 – 2008 and the COVID-19 pandemic – as windows of opportunity to further its agenda.

A one-world, global government, is predicted in the Revelation. You’d expect a hard push in that direction. The WEF is out in the open, pushing hard, with some of the wealthiest, most powerful people lending their muscle.

I was sent an article by one of you, titled, World Economic Forum Recommends Humans Become Cyborgs, Implant Brain Chips: There Are ‘Solid, Rational’ Reasons For Children To Be Microchipped.

Excerpts:

The World Economic Forum is promoting “augmentation technology” to morph humans into cyborgs and recommends children be implanted with brain chips.
The brain chips will not only improve health by eradicating impairments like learning disabilities and depression, but pave the way for humans to attain superhuman capacities, contends an August 16 article published on the WEF website.

Children would benefit from developing ultra sensory perception, the article argues.

According to author Kathleen Philips, “while superheroes have been dominating big and small screens for a while,” nowadays, “many children expect to develop superpowers themselves.”

Suggesting implant technology has the potential to deliver such “superpowers,” she argued, “Technology has always had the potential to transform society and improve our daily and professional lives” – and augmentation technology is no exception.

Phillips surmises an “augmented society” is inevitable and points to global elites who are are establishing a monopoly over brain implants to “ethically” regulate the technology that soon be pervasive across the globe.

This sounds like a precursor to everyone being ‘marked’ in some way just as the Book of the Revelation predicted in the late first century.

Global, totalitarian government, enforced by technology, is moving rapidly forward.

We are witnessing the stage-setting for the seven year Great Tribulation that is described in the last book of the Bible. We will not, however, be on Earth during that terrible Time of Jacob’s Trouble.

The resurrection and rapture of the church are imminent. It could happen any moment; nothing needs to happen before it.

Jesus will come, in the clouds, and raise the dead believers of the Church Age. He will transform the bodies of living believers to glorified, resurrection bodies. We will join Him in Heaven while the earth endures one final seven-year campaign of severe evangelism.
