The prediction everyone immediately associates with Bible prophecy is the dreaded Mark of the Beast. While exiled on the Island of Patmos, late in the first century, the apostle John saw the future Great Tribulation. In it, every citizen would have what he described as a “mark” on their hand or on their forehead. This mark will function as a personal identifier, allowing the person to transact all of their daily business without other forms of identification, and without the need for cash.
Ridiculed or considered allegorical through the centuries, we live in the age in which John’s prediction makes perfect literal sense, and is not only possible – it is preferred.
Along those lines, prophecy teachers are talking about what is called UN Agenda 2030, and its 17 goals. One recent article was titled, The UN Plans To Implement Universal Biometric Identification For All Of Humanity By 2030.
Excerpts:
Did you know that the United Nations intends to have biometric identification cards in the hands of every single man, woman and child on the entire planet by the year 2030?
And did you know that a central database in Geneva, Switzerland will be collecting data from many of these cards?
Goal 16.9 sets the following target:
“By 2030, provide legal identity for all, including birth registration.”
The United Nations is already working hard toward the implementation of this goal – particularly among refugee populations. The UN has partnered with Accenture to implement a biometric identification system that reports information “back to a central database in Geneva.”
Accenture’s Biometric Identity Management System (BIMS)… can be used to collect facial, iris, and fingerprint biometric data, and will also be used to provide many refugees with their only form of official documentation. The system will work in conjunction with Accenture’s Unique Identity Service Platform (UISP) to send this information back to the central database in Geneva, allowing UN offices all over the world to effectively coordinate with the central UN authority in tracking refugees.
Authorities hope this technology will enable them to achieve the UN’s goal of having this kind of identification in the hands of every man, woman and child on the planet by the year 2030…
All of this is what you would expect from reading your Bible.
While we look at the signs of the times, we’re not looking for any particular sign before the Lord can return. Jesus promised He’d come in the clouds to resurrect the dead in Christ, and rapture living believers.
There are no prophecies needing to be fulfilled prior to the rapture. It is presented in the Bible as an imminent event.
Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up. Ready or not, Jesus is coming!
