There are approximately 500 end-times prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled.  We should expect things in the world to be lining-up with them.

We’re not saying the things we report on are the fulfillment of these prophecies – only that they are what you’d expect to be occurring.

In the great future book in the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we’re told at one point that,

Rev 6:15  Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,
Rev 6:16  calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
Rev 6:17  for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

Would it surprise you to know that some of the world’s governments have built underground cities, to shelter the top officials?
The Sun, a UK publication, posted a story this week titled, Britain’s secret underground city built to protect the government in a Cold War nuclear attack – with its own telephone switch board, bakery and electric buggies.

Excerpts:

A secret underground city for government figures to bunker down in if nuclear war broke out is still deep under British countryside – with more than 60 miles of subterranean roads, a lake and a bakery.

The huge complex could have held 4000 people in complete isolation for up to three months if atomic bombs hit with electric buggies for transport and its own telephone switchboard.

Closer to home, another British news outlet, The Mirror, posted an article titled, Secret apocalypse bunker ‘buried beneath Denver airport as US government prepares for end of days.’

If you think that is far-fetched, this one isn’t.  National Public Radio posted a story titled, The Secret Bunker Congress Never Used.

In a groundbreaking series of reports in 2010, Washington Post reporters Bill Arkin and Dana Priest revealed that 33 building complexes for top-secret intelligence work are under construction or have been built in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area since September 2001.

Before that building boom, however, another secret bunker lay in wait for the apocalypse, behind a giant reinforced steel door.  For 30 years, it was kept secret.  Hidden in West Virginia’s Greenbrier Resort was a massive bomb shelter stocked with supplies for members of Congress in case of an emergency.

Today, part of the bunker is a tourist attraction. Another part is used as a secure data storage facility.  Had it not been exposed in 1992, there’s a good chance this would still be the secret home of the U.S. Congress.

But now that secret home is somewhere else. And, like the last one, just a handful of people know where it is.  Post reporter Bill Arkin is one of them, and he’s not saying.

There are reports from Russia, and China, of recently constructed underground facilities than can house tens of thousands.  It’s no longer some fringe conspiracy theory.

Secret underground facilities have been built to shelter and protect the world’s leaders during the apocalypse.  Some reports are fanciful… But others are very real.  They are the hiding places that the leaders of the world will retreat to, attempting to hide from the wrath of God.

It’s exactly what you’d expect from reading the Bible.

While we recognize the signs of the times, we’re not looking for any particular sign before the Lord can return.  Jesus promised He’d come in the clouds to resurrect the dead in Christ, and rapture living believers.

There are no prophecies needing to be fulfilled prior to the rapture.  It is presented in the Bible as an imminent event.

Are you ready for the rapture?  If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.  Ready or not, Jesus is coming!
