The Bible is 25% prophecy. It has been 100% accurate. We are futurists when it comes to the 300 to 500 prophecies that remain. They will be fulfilled in the future in a physical, literal, global, apocalyptic context.

It makes sense that mankind would be moving in the direction that the prophecies predict. For example, in the Book of the Revelation, we are told that there will be a global economic system that will be accessed by some kind of ‘mark’ in you or on you. Looking around, we see multiple technologies that could – and I emphasize could – end up being the fulfillment of the prophecy.  

Biometrics, Artificial Intelligence, cashless commerce, the manipulation of human DNA, global government, the exponential growth of human knowledge, and the rebirth of national Israel are End Times phenomena the Bible predicts. All of these are increasingly trending in the news.

I always give two disclaimers:

1. We are careful to use recognized, reliable sources for news. Sensationalism about the future is detrimental. 
2. We’re not saying the things we report are the fulfillment of prophecy. We’re saying that they are the things you’d expect to be happening in the build- up to the future seven year Great Tribulation.

We’ve been following news regarding Artificial Intelligence, AI for short. AI is of prophetic interest to us for at least these two reasons:

1. In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we are told that, in the future Time of Jacob’s Trouble, the Great Tribulation, there is going to be “an image to the… [antichrist]” and his associate, the False Prophet, who “was granted power to give breath to the image… that the image of the [antichrist] should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the [antichrist] to be killed” (13:14-15). That sounds like it could involve AI.
2. In the last chapter of the OT Book of Daniel, we read that, in the Last Days, human knowledge will increase at an exponential rate (12:4). AI is being called mankind’s greatest achievement. It is also growing at an alarming rate, and no one seems to be able to find the brake handle. To say that AI is an example of the exponential growth of human knowledge is a severe understatement.

I want to talk to you about ChatGPT. It is a conversational AI chatbot, and has taken the world by storm. Its mind-blowing capabilities have exceeded everyone’s expectations. 

I asked ChatGPT, “Assuming that the Book of the Revelation is to be interpreted literally, how might Artificial Intelligence be used by the first Beast we commonly call the Antichrist?”

Here is the answer I received in less than a few seconds:

3. Economic Domination: The Antichrist is described as having control over global commerce and trade. AI could be utilized to establish a global financial system that centralizes power and facilitates control over economic transactions. This could involve the use of digital currencies, advanced algorithms for economic forecasting and manipulation, and centralized AI-driven decision-making processes.

4. Autonomous Weapons: The Antichrist is often depicted as waging war and causing destruction. AI could be employed to develop autonomous weapons systems, such as drones or robotic soldiers, capable of carrying out military operations with minimal human intervention. These weapons could be used to enforce the Antichrist’s rule or suppress opposition.

5. Manipulation of Religious Beliefs: The Antichrist is associated with religious deception and counterfeit miracles. AI could be leveraged to analyze vast amounts of data, including religious texts, doctrines, and individual beliefs, in order to identify and exploit vulnerabilities. It could generate personalized messages or experiences that mimic divine revelations, leading people astray from their true faith.

It seems ChatGPT knows more about the End Times than most Christians.

AI is not going to break the world. God has told us what is going to happen leading up to His Second Coming to save the world from annihilation. 

We are pointing out that AI is exactly the kind of thing we expect to be happening from our futurist reading of God’s Word.

We are witnessing the stage-setting for the seven year Time of Jacob’s Trouble, the Great Tribulation, that is described in the last book of the Bible.

We will not be on Earth during that terrible Time of Jacob’s Trouble. The resurrection and rapture of the church are imminent. It could happen any moment; nothing needs to happen before it.

Jesus will come, in the clouds, and raise the dead believers of the Church Age. He will transform the bodies of living believers to glorified, resurrection bodies.

We will join Him in Heaven while the earth endures one final seven-year campaign of severe evangelism.
