Prophecy Update #789 – Ballot Bot

The Bible is estimated to be 25%-35% prophecy. It’s very specific prophecies have thus far been 100% accurate.

There is much Bible prophecy that is yet unfulfilled. For example, beginning in chapter four, everything in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is future to us. That is why we are called futurists. We believe that these yet-to-be-fulfilled prophecies will be fulfilled in a physical, literal, global, apocalyptic context.

It makes sense that the world would be moving in the direction that the prophecies predict. Biometrics, Artificial Intelligence, cashless commerce, the manipulation of human DNA, global government, the exponential growth of human knowledge, and the rebirth of national Israel are End Times phenomena the Bible predicts. All of these are increasingly trending in the news.

  1. We are careful to use recognized, reliable sources for news. Sensationalism about the future is detrimental.
  2. We’re not saying the things we report are the fulfillment of prophecy. We’re saying that they are the things you’d expect to be happening in the build-up to the future Great Tribulation.

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, in the future, we read about a fascinating and terrifying “image.” A man we call the False Prophet oversees the making of this “image,” which by its description seems to possess sentient life.

“[The False Prophet] causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship [the Antichrist], whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. [He tells] those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the [Antichrist]… He was granted power to give breath to the image… that the image… should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image… to be killed.”

What could animate this “image,” rendering it sentient and deadly? Artificial Intelligence.

I was sent an article this week titled, AI candidate running for Parliament in the U.K. says AI can humanize politics.

Excerpts:

An artificial intelligence candidate is on the ballot for the United Kingdom’s general election next month.

“AI Steve,” represented by Sussex businessman Steve Endacott, will appear on the ballot alongside non-AI candidates running to represent constituents in the Brighton Pavilion area of Brighton and Hove, a city on England’s southern coast.

Endacott is the chairman of Neural Voice, a company that creates personalized voice assistants for businesses in the form of an AI avatar.

He said the idea is to use AI to create a politician who is always around to talk with constituents and who can take their views into consideration.[1]

Another source reported that AI Steve can chat with 10,000 people at once.

Will AI power the image? We’re not saying that. We are simply pointing out trends you’d expect from your reading of prophecy.

In His incarnation, Jesus proclaimed that the kingdom promised Israel had come. When the Jewish leadership rejected Jesus as their King, Jesus went to Heaven. The physical kingdom on earth went on standby.

We live in the Church Age. It began on the day of Pentecost fifty days after Jesus Christ rose from the dead. It precedes the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, more commonly known as the seven-year Great Tribulation.

The Tribulation will not begin until something fantastic happens. The Lord said He would return for us, the Church, raising the dead in Christ, then catching up, rapturing, believers who are alive when He comes. He promised His Church Age believers, “I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Rev 3:10).

The resurrection and rapture of the church is always imminent. It could happen any moment; nothing needs to happen before it.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, Get ready; Stay ready; Keep looking up.

Ready or not, Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #788 – Bunker Or Bust

Has anyone counted the number of prophecies in the Bible?

J. Barton Payne’s Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy lists 1239 prophecies in the Old Testament and 578 prophecies in the New Testament, for a total of 1817.

How many remain to be fulfilled? It is estimated between 300 – 500. For example, we consider the Book of the Revelation as future prophecy from chapter four to the end.

We shouldn’t have to point out that, since the Bible is over 25% prophecy, we ought to be looking hard at what is coming.

I came across an article titled, The latest billionaire trend? Doomsday bunkers with a flammable moat.

Here are excerpts:

As you have probably noticed bunkers have become the ultimate status symbol among the 1%. Look, for example, at Mark Zuckerberg… [He] has been constructing a 5000-sq-ft underground shelter on his 1400-acre compound in Hawaii… The compound will be completely self-sufficient with its own food and water supplies. The price tag for the entire project is over $270m.[1]

The founder of Facebook isn’t the only billionaire building gigantic compounds in Hawaii:

  • Oprah Winfrey purchased a 163-acre estate in Maui back in 2002, and has bought further plots of land since then.
  • Larry Ellison, the co-founder of tech company Oracle, purchased almost all of the Hawaiian island Lanai in 2012.
  • Two years ago, the billionaire Frank VanderSloot purchased a 2,000 acre ranch just south of Zuckerberg’s.

Why is this trend interesting? In the Revelation we read,

Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

Rev 6:16  and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

While you consider that, another article I read suggested something else. “These tycoons might seem to be “prepping” for a familiar 20th-century style apocalypse, but they’re not. They are seeking to create entirely self-sustaining ecosystems, in which land, agriculture, the built environment and labor are all controlled and managed by a single person, who has more in common with a medieval-era feudal lord than a 21st-century capitalist.”

Students of Bible prophecy have long pointed to Revelation 6:6, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine,’ ” as a prediction that famine will drive common people to become enslaved to the rich.

Are these bunkers and compounds the fulfillment of one or both prophesies?? We’re not saying that. We can’t say that. We can say that this a trend we expect from a plain, literal reading of the Bible.

There is a lot of stage-setting going on in terms of the Bible’s prophecies. Things like global government, global commerce, a personal ‘mark,’ social credit, apostasy in the church, the exponential growth of human knowledge, the elimination of cash, etc.

Most significantly, the Bible predicted that the nation of Israel would be born in a day, that Jews would return there from their dispersion all over the Earth, and that Jerusalem would be at the very heart of global tension until every nation stands against her & God intervenes to save her.

The unfulfilled prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled to the letter. We are most definitely seeing the stage being set for the 2nd Coming of Jesus.

Jesus promised to resurrect & rapture His Church. He said, in fact He promised, that He would do it before His Second Coming, and before a time of Great Tribulation would come upon the whole Earth.[2]

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #787 – Curses, Foiled Again

“You will not escape the wrath of Allah.”

On December 12th 2023, moments after cursing Israel with those words in a session of the Turkish Parliament, Minister Hasan Bitmez collapsed. He died two days later.

“If Israel makes another mistake and attacks Iranian soil… it is uncertain if anything will remain of that country.”

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi made that remark on April 23rd of this year. It was the first day of the Jewish Feast of Passover. On May 19th, President Raisi, the Foreign Minister, and six other passengers and crew died in a helicopter crash. Two other helicopters landed safely.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? These are likely biblical judgments upon those who cursed Israel.

The Bible accurately predicted that the nation of Israel would be born in a day; that Jews would return there from their dispersion all over the Earth; and that Jerusalem would be the epicenter of geopolitical tension

The prophet Jeremiah talks about Iran attacking Israel and suffering defeat. [1] Identifying coastal Iran by an ancient name, Elam, he writes, “For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,” says the LORD; “And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them” (49:37). We can’t say when, but this will happen.

The Book of Enoch is unnecessarily controversial. The book itself includes a passage indicating it is not Scripture. It is, however, a true pre-flood history & post-flood prophecy.

Tradition teaches that Enoch passed his book and other books to Noah, who preserved them in the Ark. Noah then passed Enoch’s book on to Shem, who preserved it in the city of Salem. Eventually it was passed down to the tribe of Levi for safe keeping. It was then preserved up to the time the Essenes buried it, along with other ancient texts, to be found in the 20th century among the Dead Sea Scrolls.[2]

In chapter 55 of Enoch he talks about certain wicked angels who were incarcerated. In chapter 56 Enoch writes, “And in those days the angels will return and come to the kings of the east along with the Medes and Persians [Iran]. They will stir up these kings, so that a spirit of unrest will come over them, and they will rouse them from their thrones, that they may break forth as lions from their lairs, and as hungry wolves among their flocks. They will go up and tread underfoot the land of His elect ones [Israel] and the land of His elect ones will be before them a threshing-floor [Temple Mount] and a highway. But the city of my righteous [Jerusalem] will be a hindrance to their horses, and they will begin to fight among themselves. And their right hand will be strong against themselves, and a man will not know his brother, nor a son his father or his mother, till there be no number of their corpses through their own slaughter their punishment will not be in vain. In those days the mouth of Sheol will open, and they will be swallowed up in it. Sheol will devour and destroy the sinners in the presence of the elect” (56:5-8).

Is Iran currently being roused by these wicked angels? It would explain a lot!

We are most definitely seeing the stage being set for the 2nd Coming of Jesus.

Jesus promised to resurrect & rapture His Church. He said, in fact He promised, that He would do it before His Second Coming, and before a time of Great Tribulation would come upon the whole Earth.[3]

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #786 – OneHealth To Rule Them All

The 77th World Health Assembly is meeting from May 27th to June 1st in Geneva, Switzerland. On the agenda is the proposal called OneHealth. The OneHealth agenda is designed to centralize control of future pandemic-type risks.[1]

That isn’t all it does.

The One Health agenda considers the health of people, animals, and plants, as though all three are of equal value. They call it “our shared environment.”

They have a very modern, professional educational campaign. It is, of course, a scare campaign. They had me wondering how I could still be alive with everything we face! But if I’m in a nation that surrenders its sovereignty to ‘them,’ I will be safe.

Climate change, poverty, and hunger would be under their control. It will naturally lead to forced lockdowns and restrictions; and not just for pandemics. Anything could be deemed an emergency that will require their intervention.

Global programs like OneHealth are not in themselves a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. They are, however, consistent with unfulfilled prophecy. We know that the world is headed for globalism: there will be global government and global commerce. Citizenship & participation will require a person to use some kind of biometric identifier. OneHealth is pursuing that agenda.

Global government, global commerce, global surveillance, and the surrender of national sovereignty are just a few End Times predictions we can see trending in the news.

Most significantly, the Bible predicted that the nation of Israel would be born in a day, that Jews would return there from their dispersion all over the Earth, and that Jerusalem would be at the very heart of global tension until every nation stands against her & God intervenes to save her.

Our ‘futurist’ reading of the Bible is the correct reading!

The unfulfilled prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled to the letter. Everything in the Revelation after chapter three is in the future.

We are most definitely seeing the stage being set for the 2nd Coming of Jesus.

Jesus promised to resurrect & rapture His Church. He said, in fact He promised, He would do it before His Second Coming, and before a time of Great Tribulation would come upon the whole Earth.[2]

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Prophecy Update #785 – Make My Baby’s Brown Eyes Blue

Jesus said “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark…” (Matthew 24:37-38).

If you have read Genesis, you know that Jesus was describing the type of “marrying” that was taking place before the flood. In chapter six we read, “Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose…There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them” (6:1-4).

  • The “sons of God” in this passage are fallen angels – 200 of them – who came to Earth.
  • The “daughters” were human women.
  • Their offspring were “giants.” They weren’t just tall men. These are what we call Nephilim.

All ancient rabbi’s & all church fathers up to about AD 300 taught the sons of God were angels and the daughters were human women.

According to the Dead Sea Scrolls, “Fallen angels procreated the first Nephilim, leading the way to genetic tampering.”

What scholars call The 2nd Book of Enoch describes the genetic tampering that produced Nephilim, both before & again after the global flood.

When Jesus said the End Times would be as the Days of Noah, one thing He was getting at is genetic tampering with the human race.

We expect to see genetic tampering. Do we? Yes.

The most recent article I read was titled, New genome testing company helps customers weed out babies with imperfect genetics.

Excerpts:

Burgeoning West Coast genome testing company is promising prospective parents “healthy babies” by helping them to selectively discard embryos that show any sign of predisposition to unwanted physical or mental conditions.

Observers in the world of science, medicine, and children’s rights see in Orchid Health’s mission a cruel dystopian future founded upon the erasure of unconditional love from procreation and child rearing.

“I think basically sex is for fun and embryo screening is for babies,” said the company’s founder Noor Siddiqui.  Genomic screenings like Orchid will only contribute to the millions of embryos that are destroyed or forsaken to indefinite cryopreservation.[1]

Jesus predicted there would be genetic tampering of an egregious type. We expect it. We see it.

Many, if not all, the things we talk about as being signs we are living in the Last Days are coming to pass: Global government, global commerce, some type of personal identifier that could be precursor to the Mark of the Beast, the exponential growth of human knowledge, e.g., through Artificial Intelligence, etc.

Besides all that, the Bible predicted that the nation of Israel would be born in a day, that Jews would return there from their dispersion all over the Earth, and that Jerusalem would be at the very heart of global tension until every nation stands against her & God intervenes.

While we are looking out at all that, we are looking up. Jesus promised to resurrect & rapture His Church. He said, in fact He promised, He would do it before a time of Great Tribulation would come upon the whole Earth.[2]

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #784 – The End Game Is To End Jews

Pro-Palestine, Anti-Israel protests on college campuses dominated the news this past week. Jewish students were redirected “for their own safety.” They were told to go home and stay home. Several schools told students to finish their semester online.

I read an article this week about the early stages of antisemitism in pre-WWII France.[1] The author wrote,

“In 1941, my Jewish father lived in Paris. He was only 16 years old, and he lived with his parents in the 13th district. I remember him telling me how his Jewish father… was asked to turn in his bicycle to the local police station. As a citizen in good standing, he did, and so did tens of thousands of Jews. Now, the Jews were stuck at home with no mode of transportation, but maybe the underground Metro railway, as long as they wore their yellow star patch and only used the last car of the train.”

Jews being told to stay at home “for their own safety” is eerily reminiscent of the first steps to the Holocaust.

Alan Dershowitz commented,

“During recent protests in New York, there were calls to repeat the barbarity of October 7 ‘a thousand times.’ There were shouts of ‘We are Hamas,’ ‘Death to America,’ ‘Burn Tel Aviv to the ground,’ and ‘Jews go back to Poland.’ The chant of “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is pervasive. Free of what? Free of Jews. The goal is to make all of Israel Judenrein – ethnically cleansed of all Jews. One never sees a sign calling for a two-state solution or for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. These are not the goals. What is demanded is the end of any Jewish presence in the Middle East.”

Researchers agree that the antisemitism we are witnessing is unprecedented. CNN reported “Antisemitic incidents in the US reached their highest level last year since the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a civil rights non-governmental organization, began recording them in 1979. Antisemitic incidents have nearly tripled in the last six years. Last year, criminal and non-criminal cases of harassment, vandalism and assault of Jewish people and people perceived to be Jewish hit record-high levels in the US.”

An organization called Combat Antisemitism reported “A nearly 60% increase in antisemitic incidents in 2023 [globally].”

The Jerusalem Post: “The annual report for 2023 and January 2024 on the fight against antisemitism published by the Diaspora Ministry, the World Zionist Organization, and the Jewish Agency, showed that between October and December, the number of antisemitic incidents worldwide increased sixfold [235%].”

As much as 2500yrs ago, the Bible predicted that the Jews would be dispersed from their homeland to all the nations of the Earth. After a time, they would return; Israel would be a nation once again.

But she would be a hated, despised nation. Jerusalem especially would be a source of constant tension and turmoil throughout the whole Earth.

Antisemitism is nothing new. The current, global, irrational antisemitism is, if not new, unprecedented. It is what we expect from reading the Bible as future history.

As all eyes are on the Middle East, we are looking up.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

1Th 4:17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18  Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #783 – Like A Flood

I feel a little like comedian Jim Gaffigan.

Every time I’ve watched him, he does a string of jokes on a single topic. Somewhere along the way he mimics the audience, saying something like, “How many horse jokes does this guy have?”

Our weekly Prophecy Update has been dominated by what is going on in Israel and the war with Hamas. Our focus has been odd, or so it seems. We’ve not been talking about the conflict.

We’ve been talking about red cows.

We are going to do it again. Feel free to turn to the person next to you and say, “How many red heifer updates does this guy have?”

While Western news outlets have at least mentioned the red heifers, foreign outlets put it center stage.

Real quick: “What is the red heifer?” A perfect, all-red, red heifer is incredibly rare. In Judaism the ashes of a sacrificed red heifer are necessary to perform a ritual cleansing. The purification is through a mixture of ashes – of a sacrificed red heifer, red yarn, cedar wood and hyssop – with fresh spring water collected by ritually pure children who were born and raised under certain conditions. This ash mixture is believed to remain effective for up to 100 years and can be mixed with spring water as needed.

Without these ashes, the Jews cannot build a Temple. Period… End of discussion.

Lo & behold, a rancher in Texas USA sent 5 ‘perfect’ red heifers to Israel. ALJAZEERA reported it this way:

They have come from halfway across the world and are kept under tight security and raised according to the strictest rules.

They are five pure red heifers without blemish who have never worked, given birth, been milked or worn a yoke.

These red heifers and the archaic ritual they were brought to Israel for stand at the heart of a convoluted effort by a segment of ultranationalist Jews to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the third holiest site in Islam that has stood on a hill in the Old City of Jerusalem for more than 1,000 years, and replace it with a “Third Temple.”[1]

I didn’t know until a few days ago that Hamas calls the attack and the subsequent conflict, Al Aqsa Flood.

Al Aqsa is the name of the compound of Islamic religious buildings that sit atop the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Dome of the Rock, many mosques and prayer halls, and other domes and religious structures, as well as the four encircling minarets.

What’s the Flood. Former Israeli Defense Forces official Col. (Ret.) Miri Eisin decodes the real motive behind Hamas Commander Mohammed Deif’s ‘Al Aqsa Flood’ call. She says that Hamas is trying to draw in the entire Muslim population across the world into the war with this call. They wish to ‘flood’ Israel with warriors & flood the land with Israeli blood.

Futurists like ourselves have been pointing-out the literal fulfillment of building a Tribulation Temple for decades. Whether it happens sooner or later, it’s going to happen.

We know what is going on…And we know that we are going up.

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

The resurrection and rapture of the church is presented as an imminent event. It could happen anytime. Right now, for example.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #782 – Have A Cow

If ever there was a time to get excited about the Bible’s Last Days prophecies it is now.

The major trends revealed in the Bible are converging: A one-world government, a global economy, a ‘mark’ of some kind that is necessary for a person to access all products & services, weird marriages and genetic tampering as in the Days of Noah, professing Christians renouncing Jesus, and the exponential growth of human knowledge.

The key, of course, is the nation of Israel. In fulfillment of prophecy, the ethnic descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are back in their land.  Also in fulfillment of Bible prophecy, Israel and Jerusalem in particular are a problem for the Gentile nations.

The current war with Hamas was triggered by the arrival of red heifers to Israel. They said so, not me. The spokesman for the the military wing of Hamas, Abu Ubaydah, issued a recorded video. Among other things, he underscored the real cause for the October 7 atrocities, the growing conviction on the part of the Hamas leadership that the Jews were on a path of religious reawakening that would lead to the demolition of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount. Abu Ubayduh said, “We look back 100 days to remember the educated, the complicit, and the incapacitated among the world powers governed by the law of the jungle, reminding them of an aggression that reached its peak against our path… with the start of its actual temporal and spatial division, and the bringing of red cows as an application of a detestable religious myth designed for aggression against the feelings of an entire nation in the heart of its Arab identity, and the path of its prophet (the Night Journey) and Ascension to heaven.”

We’ve reported on the red heifer many times, especially recently. Its ashes after sacrifice an essential ingredient for worship in a rebuilt Temple. The problem as they see it is the existence of the Al Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount where the Jewish Temple once stood. If that is its location, it would mean conflict and war to control the site.

Rare red heifers were found in Texas. They are in Israel. There are voices calling for its sacrifice this upcoming Passover season.

Think of it this way: When President George W. Bush created an alliance of nations to go to war against Iraq, one of the major reasons given was that Sadaam had ‘weapons of mass destruction.’

Hamas declared war on Israel because they have…red heifers of mass destruction??

Longstanding Jewish tradition says there were nine red heifers offered so far. The tradition says that the tenth and final red heifer will be burned by the Messiah at the time of the rebuilding of the future Temple.

That is as far as I need to go with talking about the red heifers sacrifice. The Bible predicted Israel would be back in her land, and that her Temple would be re-constructed. These thousands-of-year-old prophesies are coming true before our eyes.

I received the Lord on account of the power of the Word of God in boldly making prophecies that always, 100%, come true. Unbelievers and believers both are wondering what is going on. We can tell them.

Of ourselves we say, “We are going up!”

I’m referencing, of course, the Rapture of the Church. Described as imminent, the Lord will raise the dead in Christ and then transform living believers from these decaying bodies into our forever bodies. All saints from the Church Age in which we live will be safe in Heaven while those who dwell ion Earth will be subjected to 7-yrs of God’s wrath.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up.

Ready or not, Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #781 – A Kohen Brother

An embassy is the primary diplomatic mission in a foreign country’s capital, while a consulate is a smaller mission in a major city.

Israel on Monday struck an Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, and killed a number of senior leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the Pentagon.

An attack on an embassy or consulate is an attack on the country itself. Israel & the US believe Iran is about to retaliate. It is just the kind of thing that would escalate the fighting in the Middle East. In fact, military strategists say it was intended by Israel to draw Iran into the conflict. That scenario would probably draw the US in as well.

While we are on the precipice of WWIII, a red heifer is getting lots of attention.

A red heifer is needed for a special sacrifice after which its ashes are used to ritually cleanse the implements of the Jewish Temple. Finding a red heifer that meets certain strict biblical standards is rare. The Mishnah, which is an authoritative, written embodiment of Jewish oral tradition, teaches that only nine red heifers were sacrificed from the time of Tabernacle worship until the Second Temple was destroyed in AD 70.

The Jewish sage Maimonides believed that the tenth animal would only be found and sacrificed when King Messiah was ready to appear.

This brief background helps you understand why a spokesman for Hamas cited the red heifers as a major motivation for their attack upon Israel.

The Jews believe they have found the Kohen who qualifies to lead the ceremony.

Kohen is the Hebrew word for priest and it is specifically used in reference to the descendants of Aaron. The Temple Institute released a photograph on twitter with the caption, “A KOHEN FIT TO PERFORM THE RED HEIFER CEREMONY!”

They said, “The young kohen in the photo visiting the red heifer candidates in Shiloh, is fit to perform the red heifer ceremony. He came into the world via home birth, has never set foot in a hospital or cemetery, and therefore considered by halacha (Jewish law) to be of the highest level of Torah purity, having never contracted impurity imparted by contact with a corpse.”

These events in and involving Israel are exactly what you’d expect from reading the Bible’s unfulfilled prophecies.

End Times events are going to progress according to God’s plan. The seven-year time of great tribulation is going to break-out upon the Earth. You can read about it in chapters 6-19 of the Revelation.

What you won’t read about is the Church.

We are significantly absent as God’s wrath is poured-out upon those who dwell upon the Earth

Jesus promised His Church, “I… will keep you from [out of] the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

He keeps us entirely out of those 7yrs by raising deceased Church Age saints, and rapturing “we who are alive and remain”

The return of the Lord for us is imminent. It could happen any time. Nothing needs to occur before Jesus can come for us.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, Get ready; Stay ready; Keep looking up.

Ready or not, Jesus is coming!

Prophecy Update #780 – You Saw Me Standing Alone

There are an estimated 500 future Bible prophecies yet to be fulfilled. Since God has 100% accuracy in prophecy, we know everything He recorded for us in the Bible that has not happened, will happen.

We reserve a few minutes Sunday morning to suggest news, or trends, that seem to be predicted by a literal, futurist reading of the Bible.

We are careful to use recognized, reliable sources for news. There is a lot of sensationalism surrounding unfulfilled Bible prophecy, and we don’t want to add to it.

We’re not saying the things we report are the definite fulfillment of prophecy – only that they are the things you’d expect to set the stage for the things to come.

The nation of Israel finally recognizing Jesus as their Messiah, and receiving Him as their King, is the dominant theme of the remaining prophecies.

For example: A 7yr time of great tribulation is predicted. It goes by many names. One of them is the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Jacob was the father of the 12 boys who constitute the 12 tribes of Israel. The happenings of the Time of Jacob’s Trouble are designed to save the Jews on Earth at the Lord’s Second Coming.

There are predictions that Israel will stand alone. I read an article in The Economist thus week titled, Israel Alone.

Excerpts:

There is still a narrow path out of the hellscape of Gaza. A temporary ceasefire and hostage release could cause a change of Israel’s government; the rump of Hamas fighters in south Gaza could be contained or fade away; and from the rubble, talks on a two-state solution could begin, underwritten by America and its Gulf allies.

It is just as likely, however, that ceasefire talks will fail. That could leave Israel locked in the bleakest trajectory of its 75-year existence, featuring endless occupation, hard-right politics and isolation. Today many Israelis are in denial about this, but a political reckoning will come eventually. It will determine not only the fate of Palestinians, but also whether Israel thrives in the next 75 years.[1]

If you keep up with news you heard Senator Chuck Schumer call upon Israel to hold new elections to change their government. Trying to explain himself, he said, “Bibi [Benjamin Netanyahu] could prevent any election until 2026,” he said. “I worry under his leadership, Israel would become such a pariah in the world and even in the United States, because I look at the numbers and they’re rapidly decreasing. I had to speak out before it erodes.”

President Donald Trump, in February of 2020, announced his plan for the peace of Jerusalem. He said, “My vision presents a win-win opportunity for both sides, a realistic two-state solution that resolves the risk of Palestinian statehood to Israel’s security.”[2]

In the Book of Joel “the Lord says: ‘I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land’ ” (3:2).

Joel Rosenberg writes, “The Bible is crystal clear: the Lord Almighty will judge all nations who divide the Land of Israel.”[3]

The nation of Israel reborn and in her promised land is a very definite fulfillment of many prophecies. Standing alone, being forced by the nations to divide up the land, interfering with her democracy, are things we expect on account of reading Bible prophecy.

End Times events are going to progress according to God’s plan. The seven-year time of great tribulation is going to break-out upon the Earth. You can read about it in chapters 6-19 of the Revelation.

What you won’t read about is the Church. We are significantly absent as God’s wrath is poured-out upon those who dwell upon the Earth.
